I was in the area to drop my wife off for an office event, and we dropped by to pick up a cake a few shops down. I was hungry and saw this bakery with locals lined up. I decided to grab vietnamese ice coffee, egg rolls, puff pastry, and bao. Everything tasted great. They had a buy 2 get 1 free deal for most of the finger foods. Bought a baguette that everyone was getting and ended up making a sardine pate at home to pair with it. I want to come back for the bahn mi. There's no sitting room, so you just order and go. Everything was ready to go, and the older lady up front was very nice and provided good service.

I ordered my three-tier wedding cake from Long Phung and I was SO HAPPY with how it came out. It was perfect for 400+ guests. I really wanted a minimalistic style that could be dressed up with flowers and I was really happy the bakery didn't pressure me into making any changes. There are several flavors you can choose from but I opted for a classic vanilla cake with fruit tart cover which was perfect for my Asian family members. The cake is nice and moist and not too sweet. If my Viet parents are happy, I'm happy! The pricing is really fair for the size and quality of cake. Though the outside of the bakery may be unassuming, don't underestimate this small business. Will definitely be sending all my other friends to Long Phung for their cake needs!

Apparently if you don't know this bakery you're not Vietnamese American Bolsa OG . In the whole 10 years that I live in SoCal, I regret that I didn't find out about this place sooner. Their famous fruit cake is DA BOMB. It was so good. I served it at my baby shower the second biggest size that they have and it was cleaned out. The entire cake was gone. I myself not a cake fan but I ate so much of it I have to post about it. Don't expect much of a service since the ladies who worked here are my grandma's age so they move as quickly as they can. Be patient. Your beautiful cake will come in time. Better call to order before hand if you want the biggest size. Smaller sizes always available.

Still one of my favorite places to get fruit tart cake. The store definitely doesn't look like a bakery from outside since they also sell a ton of orchid flowers, but don't let that deter you as they've been specializing in their fruit cakes since I was a kid. For our family, we usually get the 1/4 sheet cake (smallest size) which I would recommend for 10-12 guests depending on how large you cut the slices. Fruits are fresh and can vary depending on the season. The fruit tart consists of cake, a puff pastry layer and their custard on the inside with their whipped cream on the outside. You'll notice it's not the best piping job for the whipped cream, but the taste is still great (not too sweet, just like the parents like). I usually do a special request for "double cookie" which just means no cake and only puff pastry. You can't call ahead to pre-order so you'll have to come in to place the order but it usually takes about 10-15 minutes for them to make for you. Highly recommend bringing cash.

AWESOME cake we ordered for our baby shower and a retirement party. I think it's really one of the best values and it's a very unique sheet cake. Our guests kept raving about it and asked where we got this cake from because it's really out of the ordinary. Depending on how you cut it, one full sheet size feeds I think maybe 100 people but I think suggestion was closer to 60-80? You'll have to ask but we definitely had leftovers for people to take home. They're super nice about explaining everything and make sure to follow their instructions on how to transport and cut the cake. You do need to order in-person and pay for the cake, not sure if they'll accept phone orders too frequently for the large sheet one.

we've bought their bomb fruit cakes for several anniversaries, birthdays! about $45 now. the ladies are nice and will engrave anything you want on the cake. its perfect not too sweet

Wow. Hands down best fruit cake I've ever had. I have dreams about it - so much fresh fruit, brings back childhood nostalgia to the small Asian bakeries. The perfect compliment is "not too sweet". The stabilized whipped cream is spread on with just the right amount to not overwhelm the fruit and white cake. This cake could feed a large group of people, very reasonably priced!

My go-to spot for Orchids and the Napoleon Cake with tons of fresh fruit on top. They have a great orchid selection with the best prices. And we always get our Napoleon Cake from here. They only have them in 2 sizes: 1/4 sheet and 1/2 sheet, and they always so good. Parking is horrible, depending on the time of day. Service is direct. They take cash or card. We picked up a fruit cake for a friends baby shower not knowing how large the cake was. It was so heavy carrying it to my car I was afraid of dropping it, but we made it safely to the baby shower and it was a hit.
